Blackened Seasoning

I generally use this seasoning to spice up chicken and fish dishes.

Recipe type: Spice Mix
Ingredients
  • 2 Tbsp paprika
  • 4 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp cayenne
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients thoroughly & store in a glass jar.
Notes
Makes about ½ cup.

So it’s been a while since I’ve posted actual news here.  So here’s some highlights:

  • Mom and Dad celebrated their 32nd anniversary by renewing their vows… in Vegas.
  • Mom and Dad bought the Las Animas ranch with the Bednorz’es.  I’ll eventually post pictures.
